No gifts this year

I believe that I`m being punished for doing a bad thing. I`ve said the other day, just to make people jealous, that the weather here was great, with such a good temperature. This week, it started to get so, so cold... But that doesn`t make me worry. What really worries me is the fact that Christmas is coming.
As you might know, only good girls, who behaved well during the last year, are going to receive presents from Santa Claus. I was quite sure that I had been good in this 2007... Until now. Now I`m afraid that I won`t receive any gift, not even one.
Anyway, I still have some hope, so I`ll hang my boot on the fireplace. Maybe baby Jesus likes me, because I was born in the same day that he did, and talks with St. Claus, and that way I might receive something.

One day in Almeria city

Ok, so I had an amazing quick visit to the city of Almeria with some local girlfriends - went yesterday at 9h and arrived today at 12h.
Yesterday`s morning, visit to Almeria`s University campus. Nice place, in front of the sea, with palm trees. Big space, lots of buildings. Constructing more and a climatized swimming pool. Bike renting. Free laptop loan. Coffee at the esplanade, watching the outdoor`s classe of the Sport`s career (cool classes running around and cool coffee with sunglasses, looking at those cool guys). A band, composed by boys from the university was playing at the auditorium. Typical spanish sound and voice. It sounded quite well! Watched the buildings architecture, of course. Overwhelming round-shaped library. Had lunch there, at the campus... F#ck!ng good food!
First entrance in to a spanish Carrefour. An experience to keep inside my heart forever...
Arrived to the friend`s flat, also typical siesta until 5 pm, completly nestled in the sofa.
Up, up, up, cause time is short. Where else could 4 girls go at that time? To the shopping... But no shopping in fact... cinema! A bit shitty animation movie "Donkey Xote".
Buy whiskey and rum.
Tapa`s dinner at a very, very small restaurant. Really bad beer.
Arriving to the flat. Drink whiskey and rum. Eat Doritos with Snikers (as a matter of fact, it was only me eating). I can`t stop eating lately. I believe I have a taenia (the solitary one!). She must be my new pet.
Trying to put sexy clothes and war paintings to look nice... Failed mission.
Taxi, disco I, walk, disco II, walk, talking guys in the street, bar I, walk, talked to gay guys in the street, bar II(totaly crowded, can`t move, nice place to the guys, that HAVE to be glued to girls all the time), walk, disco I (drinking fast!can`t stop / decided that guys are definetly like vultures / running from guys that were presenting themselfs to my girls...both groups staring at me, thinking:"what the hell is she doing, dancing alone, giving us her backs?!" / saying to others "what?!not spanish, can`t understand" / threaded my thumb in to a stranger boy`s mouth, felt the teeth... don`t ask why or how / missing girlfriend, in the middle of the night...found her restrained by her own excrement at a WC...cleaning it from the wall with toillete paper...hope she only does it when drunk...tells me:"Don`t you dare to get in here!" / doorman with big muscles worried with my feet pain "uuhh... los pies? uuuiii...", telling me the Taxi number... thank you very much, but I haven`t asked / my shoe ended in the middle of the road... don`t ask either), taxi, flat.
Slept 3 hours.
Came home.
The End.

Drink to win!

I`ve just arrived from the bar. Yes, I say "the bar" and not "a bar", because we go there several days per week. It became one of those familiar places, where you know the owners and employees and treat them as friends. It`s nice.
Sometimes, at fridays and saturdays, they make there parties of something: cubata`s party, Heineken party... That means that each time you ask that thing, you win a surprise gift, like: caps, pins, knapsacks, t-shirts, little things to hang on the mobil-phone, etc.
It is a success, really. I don`t know why, but the truth is that everybody wants those gifts like crazy. Competing to see who wins the sweat-shirt! But the truth is that at the end, you don`t give a shit. You arrive at your room and throw it to the corner and the only ones that are going to use it are the friends that share the space with you: little and gentle bugs. If you have the sad idea of heroicly offer it to other, at the beginning you`ll look pretty cool... But when that person arrives to her room, she`ll throw it the same way and that`s when she`ll think "What shitty gift! What the f!u3ck am I going to do with this?" That`s when the small inhabitants triumph again!

Andaluzian subjects

Everybody as the idea that the southern Europe, close to the Mediterranean sea, as a really good weather, hot and all. More: Portugal makes part of that beautiful idea of Paradise, that foreigners have. Well... Here, in Andaluzia, I am witnessing that, more than ever! A totally stupid temperature to this time of the year. Hot and sunny. There`s no need to put scarfs, big jackets like blankets, gloves, caps... Whatever that might keep you from showing your winding body to the world! And I`m not saying this just to make you jealousie.
So, I say, that this is a nice place to spend your winter. As a matter of fact, this place is full of english people! I believe that they thought the same, but not only to the winter... But for the rest of their life.
You see, you go on the road and look to the car that`s in front of you and... AHAHAH! There is nobody driving. Well, that, or it`s a very small person. But when you look closer, the driver`s seat stays on the right. Uff! Or you go to the supermarket, dentist, bar, etc., and see spanish people, locals, confused speaking to someone: that someone surely is british... You look to the croud and see blond heads, white skin and light eyes: for sure, "your majesty people".
I wonder what made all this gentlemans leave that glamorous country. And I bet that it was because of the fog (better saying, the smog!). Sick and tired of inhale monoxide and all, believing that all the little molecules of their bodies were changing, something like that.
But why here?! Why so many here?! They are like a closed community, that decided to live here, but, however, they do not try to speak spanish most of the time. Of course! What for? English is a universal language, but they`ve choose the worse country to do that: spanish people stink in what regards to english language: writing, reading, speaking, understanding... Really...(Not only in english, but also in mathematic - they have one of the lowest level in this discipline in Europe!) Oh! now that I`m talking about it, I discovered another reason why they came here to live. They phone home and say:"Hey you guys! Come here, because it`s the only place of the world where nobody understands what we say! That way we can insult them all the time."
But, those english... They want to be well received here, make part of this new world for them, feel inserted... Humm... I wonder how, if they do not make an effort, to adapt to the local culture. At least the language, for God sake!

¡Vete a dormir!
